A total of 850,000 cars were recalled in Britain last year, according to figures released by the Vehicle and Operator Service Agency (Vosa). A recall takes place when a car manufacturer becomes aware of a safety-related defect involving one of its cars. Audi celebrates its 100th anniversary this year, and it's taking the party to this summer's Goodwood Festival of Speed. The German automaker is making big plans to celebrate its centennial this July at the Goodwood House in England, where it will be the featured marque. Audi says Jacky Ickx and Allan McNish will be there to drive.
DIGITAL EDITOR ANDREW STOY: After spending an evening in the upmarket 2012 Ford Focus Titanium, I'm decidedly torn. My feelings about the chassis, brakes, steering--everything about the driving dynamics--remain the same as with our SE Sport tester a few weeks back: brilliant.
